Job Description
We are seeking several teachers (K-8th grade) for the After School Program. We wish to find teachers that are outgoing, creative, and works well with children and in a team environment. - Desired Majors: English, Liberal Studies, Math, Psychology
- Desired Class Level: Junior, Senior, Graduate Student
Qualifications
- Patient and enjoys working with children
- Has prior teaching classroom experience
- Able to check and assist students with homework from school
- Has good classroom management skills, able to create lesson plans, and can teach in an engaging way
- Strong communication skills, can work in a team environment
- Strong in English, Writing, and Math, and is familiar with and can teach in accordance to the public school standards
- Associates or Bachelors degree required
- TB skin test within the last 4 years, and clear finger-printing
- Background check upon hire
Salary: $13/hr – $16/hr
